Day 01: ARRIVE DELHI
Arrive Delhi. Meet greet and transfer to the hotel. OVERNIGHT AT THE HOTEL.
Day 02: DELHI
Morning sightseeing tour of Old Delhi visiting the Raj Ghat, the site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated; Jama Masjid - the largest mosque in India; and the Red Fort - once the most opulent fort and palace of the Moghul Empire. (Red Fort closed on Monday). Afternoon sightseeing tour of New Delhi visiting the Humayun's Tomb, the Qutub Minar. Drive along the ceremonial avenue - Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate, Parliament House and the President's Residence and end the tour with a drive through Diplomatic Enclave. OVERNIGHT AT THE HOTEL. |
Day 03: DELHI-UDAIPUR
Morning transfer to Airport to connect the flight to Udaipur, on arrival check-in at Hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Udaipur, stopping first at City Palace. Here you will marvel at rooms with mirrored walls and ivory doors, colored glass windows and inlaid marble balconies; and the Peacock Courtyard. Also visit the lovely Sahelion-ki-Bari Gardens; the Jagdish Temple; and the local folk Museum. OVERNIGHT AT THE HOTEL. |
Day 04: UDAIPUR / KUMBHALGARH 140 KMS 05 HOURS
Morning drive to Kumbhalgarh enroute visit Ranakpur Jain Temples A visit to the famous Jain Temple, dating back to the 15th century. It's 29 halls are supported by 200 pillars, none of which are alike.
The Temple abounds with intricate friezes and sculptures. Includes visits to two more Jain temples and the Temple of the Sun God with its erotic sculptures.
Kumbhalgrh Fort (alt 1,087 m) was the second most important fort of the Mewar Kingdom after Chittaurgarh. Built mostly by Maharana Kumba (1485), it is situated on a West facing ridge of the Aravallis, commanding a great strategic position on the border between the Rajput Kingdoms of Udaipur (Mewar) and Jodhpur (Marwar). Day 05: KUMBHALGARH/MANWAR 260 KMS 06 HOURS
Morning drive to Manwar, Enroute visit Jodhpur - gateway to the desert beyond, home of the Rathors of Marwar. Visit the Fort, rising up a hilly scarp, built on the advice of a hermit, which overlooks the city in the image of a long sentinel. Inside the Fort are a number of palaces added by successive rulers.
On arrival check-in at hotel. Manwar ;This picturesque getaway is situated 110kms. from Jodhpur-the beginning of Thar Desert. Manwar Desert Resort & Camp: It is set amidst sand dunes to befit the atmosphere. The Camp offers Swiss cottage tents well furnished with attached WC & Shower. The camp is very well located, in the desert. It serves very good continental and Indian cuisine. The dinner is accompanied by traditional folk dance performance. We would organize a jeep safari to nearby Villages where guest would get an opportunity to see the village life. Day 06: MANWAR / JAISALMER 170 KMS 04 HOURS

Day 07: JAISALMER
Morning sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer. It is in the heart of the Great Indian Desert. Its temple, fort and palaces are all built of yellow stone. The city is a mass of intricately carved buildings, facades and elaborate balconies. See the Patwon-Ki-Havelies, Salim-Singh-Ki-Haveli and Gadhi Sagar Tank. Afternoon Free. |
Day 08: JAISALMER / BIKANER 330 KMS 07½ HOURS
Morning drive to Bikaner, on arrival check-in at hotel. OVERNIGHT AT THE HOTEL.
Day 09: BIKANER / MANDAWA 185 KMS 04 HOURS
Morning sightseeing of Bikaner, this desert town in the north of the state was founded in 1488 by Rao Bikaji, a descendant of the founder of Jodhpur, Jodhaji. Visit the Junagarh Fort constructed between 1588 and 1593 by Raja Jai Singh, a general in the Moghul Emperor Akbar's army. Also visit Camel Breeding farm (closed on Sundays). Later drive to Mandawa. Day 10: MANDAWA / JAIPUR 170 KMS 04 HOURS
Morning sightseeing of Mandawa which lies in the heart of Shekhawati. A painted arched gateway adorned with lord krishna and his cows leeds to the bazaar. You can wander through the streets where mansions of rich merchants are adorned with elaborate frescoes. Later drive to Jaipur. On arrival check-in at Hotel. Rest of the day at Leisure. Day 11: JAIPUR
Morning excursion to Amber Fort. Make your ascent to the palace fortress on the gaily caparisoned elephant back. Tour the chambers and hallways of the palace which are famous for the excellence of their design and decoration.
Afternoon tour of Jaipur, known as "The Pink City of Rajasthan". Visit the unique Jantar Mantar Observatory, which was built in the 1700's, yet even today still looks futuristic or almost surrealistic; the City Palace and its Museum, the Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds. OVERNIGHT AT THE HOTEL. |
Day 12: JAIPUR / FATEHPUR SIKRI / AGRA (238 KMS 05 HOURS)
Morning drive to Agra Enroute visit Fateh Pur Sikri Fatehpur Sikri - the deserted, red sandstone city that was built by Emperor Akbar as his capital and palace in the late 16th century. It was a veritable fairytale city and its "ruins" are still in pristine condition... it's not hard to imagine what the court life must have been like in the days of its grandeur. Also visit the Bulund Darwaza the largest gateway in the world. On arrival Check In hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. OVERNIGHT AT THE HOTEL. |
Day 13: AGRA / DELHI 210 KMS 4½ HOURS
Morning Sightseeing visiting the impressive Agra Fort and the most perfect architectural monument in the world - The Taj Mahal (Friday closed).
Taj Mahal - the mausoleum of Empress Mumtaz Mahal, the beloved spouse of Shah Jahan, who died in 1630. The building, often styled "a dream in marble" is said to have taken at least 22 years (1631-1653) to build. (THIS MONUMENT IS CLOSED ON Friday).
Agra Fort - which lies on the bend of the River Yamuna, almost in the heart of the town.
Later drive to Delhi. In time transfer to airport to connect the flight for onward destination. |

Day 05: SHIVPURI-ANANDA
Early morning Yoga and meditation. After breakfast four hours easy Himalayan trek with packed lunch. Those not interested in the trek can go for nature walk in the jungle. Late afternoon float trip on the Holy Ganges. Your trip will take you on the Ganges as it gently floats through the town of Rishikesh. Evening campfire and bar-be-cue dinner. OVERNIGHT IN CAMP. |
Day 06: SHIVPURI-ANANDA-MUSSOORIE-RISHIKESH

Day 07: RISHIKESH-DELHI
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive from Rishikesh to Delhi (225 kms/6.5 hours) enroute visiting Haridwar. HARI - name for the Lord Krishan "Dwar" Gateway to - approach to Lord Krishna is what HARIDWAR stands for. More ancient than the name is the name of KAPHASTHAN. Day 08: DELHI-VARANASI
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer from hotel to the airport in time for:

Meeting and assistance upon arrival and transfer from airport to HOTEL .Afternoon sightseeing tour of the holy city of Varanasi. Visit to some of the many Hindu Temples that line the river Ganges. Stroll along the narrow lanes and bazaars full of shops selling, among other things, the world-famous Banaras Silks. DINNER & OVERNIGHT IN LEH AT HOTEL. |
Day 09: VARANASI
Early morning, drive to Daswamedh Ghat and take a boat ride on the sacred river Ganges. Continue by boat to see burning and bathing Ghats. Breakfast at the hotel. Rest of the morning at leisure. Afternoon, visit the buried Buddhist city of Sarnath, just outside Varanasi - it's as holy to the Buddhists as Varanasi is to the Hindus. Here you will witness the ruins of a once flourishing Buddhist monastery and then visit a fine museum which houses an excellent collection of Buddhist art and sculpture.

Day 10: VARANASI-PURI

The Orissan temple form consists of a single dominating spire. The smaller replica spires here are merely details of surface decoration. The `busy chisel of the artist' has worked ceaselessly to carve every inch of space with fine details - birds, animals, foliage and human beings. Day 12: PURI-CALCUTTA

Morning, you will have a sightseeing tour of Puri. Also excursion to Konark. The Sun Temple here standing among the sand dunes of the sea shore is the most impressive of the Orissa Temples. It was built in 1255 AD and is dedicated to the Sun God. The temple is in the architectural image of the mythical chariot of the Sun God. The horses at the entrance, the encircling friezes and the chariot wheels are executed with exuberance. The outstanding conceived on a grand scale and vibrant figures of musicians and dancers.
