Day 01: ARRIVE BOMBAY
Bombay by International Flight. Meeting on arrival and transfer from airport to: HOTEL OBEROI TOWERS. (Hotel check-in time is 12 noon) Afternoon Golf at Willingdon Sports Club (18 Hole, 4510 yards). The Club is situated in the heart of the city. Here while the course is short and is not of championship calibre, but you have to be as accurate as possible to break the par. |
Day 02: BOMBAY
Morning sightseeing tour of Bombay. Visit the Prince of Wales Museum (closed on Monday and other Govt. holidays), here you will see its extensive collection of fascinating 18th & 19th century miniature paintings; elegantly carved ivory artworks; and a rich collection of Nepalese and Tibetan art, among other fine works of art. Also visit the Gateway of India overlooking the Harbour; and the Dhobi Ghat, the unique and colorful outdoor "laundry". Then drive up Malabar Hill to the lovely Hanging Gardens, and the Kamla Nehru Park from where you will get a wonderful vista of Bombay and the Arabian see spread out before you.
Also visit Mani Bhawan, a small museum dedicated to the life and works of Mahatma Gandhi; and the bustling Crawford Market. Afternoon at Presidency Golf Club (18 holes, length 6230 yards, par 70). The Bombay Presidency Golf Club at Chembur opened in 1940 and the implementation of a master plan drawn up by world Golf star Peter Thompson has made it a fine test of Golf. Of the 110 wooded acres there are all kinds of pitfalls for the straying Golfer - one is called the Elephant pit! Chembur is a test not only of Golf technique but also of boldness and courage. |
Day 03: BOMBAY-JAIPUR
Transfer from hotel to the airport in time for: Lv: Bombay
Ar: Jaipur Meeting and assistance upon arrival and transfer from airport to HOTEL RAMBAGH PALACE. Afternoon city sightseeing tour of Jaipur, known as the "Pink city of Rajasthan" since so many of its buildings are constructed of the local pink-hued sandstone. Visit the Palace of Winds (Hawa Mahal), a distinctive example of architectural delicacy and beauty; and the City Palace and its museum; and the unique Jantar Mantar Observatory, which was built in the 1700's, yet even today still looks futuristic or almost surrealistic.

Day 04: JAIPUR-AGRA
Enjoy an excursion outside Jaipur to the Amber Fort, overlooking the desert plains of Rajasthan. Make your ascend to the palace/fortress on the back of a gaily caparisoned elephant, and then tour the chambers and hallways of the palace, which are famous for the excellence of their design and decoration. Afternoon leave Jaipur and drive for Agra. En route, you visit Fatehpur Sikri, the fairy-tale city and palace built in the 16th Century by Emperor Akbar. After the tour, continue your drive until you reach at: HOTEL MUGHAL SHERATON. |
Day 05: AGRA-DELHI
Morning sightseeing tour of Agra, including its Impressive Agra Fort, the local handicraft shops, and of course, the highlight of the tour -- the incredible lacy-white grandeur and loveliness of the Taj Mahal, perhaps the most perfect architectural monument in the world. Transfer from hotel to the airport in time for: Lv: Agra

Day 06: DELHI
Morning combined sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi. Your stops include Humayun's Tomb, a forerunner of the ornate Moghul style of architecture... the Qutub Minar, a 234 feet victory tower of the 13th century....the Red Fort, the most opulent fort and palace of the Moghul Empire...and then your drive will take you along the ceremonial avenue, Rajpath, past the India Gate and Parliament House to the President's Residence, formerly the Viceroy's Palace. Afternoon Golf at Delhi Golf Club (18 holes, length 6954 yards, par 73). Delhi Golf Club was founded in 1950 complete with over 200 trees, and thousands of flowering shrubs and bushes, providing greenness sanctuary. For over 300 species of birds. Part of the Asian Golf circuit for the Indian opens and National Amateur championships. The course is 6954 yards with 18 holes of interesting Golf at Delhi Golf Club, and difficult Golf. It is lait out on the site of one of the eight cities of Delhi. This gives the cours, which covers a generous 220 acres, its unique charm. Many Tombs are dotted throughout the 18 holes here, in the heart of one of the worlds most historical capitals, Delhi offers an unique Golfing experience. |
Day 07: DELHI-CALCUTTA
Morning play Golf at Delhi Golf Club. Transfer from hotel to the airport in time for: Lv: Delhi

Day 08: CALCUTTA
Morning at leisure. Afternoon play Golf at Royal Calcutta Golf Club (Old course - 18 holes, length 6988 yards, par 73). The Royal Calcutta Golf Club was founded in 1829 and is the first Golf club to be started outside Scotland and England. The countryside over which the course was laid was originally paddy fields, consequently it is flat. Ranking as a long championship course, the strongest features of the Royal are its par - 4 holes, requiring not only accuracy in drive placements off the tee, but strong, long irons to the relatively small well contoured greens. Far indeed from the original land of golf, nonetheless Royal Calcutta ensures a welcome, warm hospitality that is both sincere and truly very sure.
Day 09: CALCUTTA
Morning play Golf at Tollygunj Golf Club. Calcutta's other major Golf Club, the Tollygunj Club, with its very pleasant 18 hole course, is set in delightful surroundings. The "Tolly Race Track runs through the course - a ball in a hoof mark is a free pick ! The 200 years old Club House at Tolly was once the Stately Mansion of an indigo planter by the name of Richard Johnson. When he died, the plantation was aquiered by the family of the famous Tipu Sultan of Mysore who transformed it into a Royal Park. Afternoon is at leisure. |
Day 10: CALCUTTA-MADRAS

Day 11: MADRAS
Morning play Golf at Madras Golf Club. The Madras Gymkhana Club started a Golf section (browns) in 1886. The course runs through the Guindy Race course and offers chanllenging golfing for the new and seasoned player. Afternoon excursion to Mahabalipuram - an ancient coastal port - south of Madras. Here you will see many sculptures and temples of typical South Indian architectural design; the Five Rathas - a group of monolithic monuments and animal figures carved out of solid rock; the Shore Temple lashed by the waves of the sea; and the huge fresco, "The Penance of Bhagirath". |
Day 12: MADRAS-ABROAD
Transfer from hotel to airport to connect the International flight for onward destination. (Hotel check-out time is 12 noon). |
